What To Wear To Your Bridal Shower

Let’s just say that I went through so many dresses until I found this beautiful white lace dress that was so P E R F E C T L Y me. With so many of my friends getting married, I thought I’d round up some gorgeous pieces for those that are searching for the perfect bridal shower dress to wear as the bride. Also linking lots of dresses to wear as a guest.

This For Love & Lemons lace white dress gave me all sorts of bridal vibes. I wore it for my bridal shower EXACTLY 1 year ago, but definitely plan on wearing it way more. It had an underlying nude cotton material that made the fit very flattering. The trim detail & back of this dress gave it a very girly feel – I recommend going for a hairstyle that doesn’t cover the gorgeous details on the back of this dress.

Another reason I was drawn to this particular dress was the side cutouts – exactly where cutouts should be. The only thing I altered were the sleeves – I added an elastic band near my wrists so it flared out a little more rather than the sleeves just hanging down on my hands. I have really tiny wrists naturally, so this made the dress sit a lot nicer around my hands.

I recommend getting a stick on bra (HERE) for this dress, since the back is open OR get padding sewn into the front of the dress. I also used this double sided tape (HERE) to keep the back in place (I’ve used other brands and they just come off or don’t stick as well).

These Dior heels are an investment, but they are everything and probably my favorite designer pair I own! These heels go so nicely with dresses, workwear, and my ultimate favorite, with distressed denim. I went with a darker heel to give some contrast to my look. This is the navy color with a velvet finish to it (looks really close to black in reality). They come in all sorts of colors now and I can’t resist – I’ll probably buy another color soon. They are super comfortable as well and come in a lower heel size/sandals now too (mine is the higher heel size). Definite staple in my closet!
