If you’re a sucker for themes, then you’ll LOVE this. I had so much fun planning my bridal shower, with the help of my amazing mom, a few cousins, and my sister-in-law [ and yes, I did drive them a bit crazy one too many times ]. I CANNOT believe it’s been over ONE YEAR since then! If you’re new here, I was supposed to get married in May 2020, but right after my bridal shower last year, COVID decided to show up. I’m definitely grateful that I got to at least have my bridal shower with my closest friends & family before everything got shut down.
Picking my bridal shower theme and sticking to it was the hardest part for me, especially because I usually have so many ideas & am super detail oriented – so my advice is to focus on the color scheme first and then try to come up with a theme that fits it. Also jot down your MUST HAVES (as far as decor goes), and work around that. Here are all of the theme related details for you ladies… I’ve also linked a bunch of items for you guys! Happy planning!
In case you missed it, you can read my blog post about how I styled my outfit for my bridal shower HERE. I’ve included lots of gorgeous options for you in that post as well!
deciding your theme
Start jotting down any specific hobbies you have or things that fit YOUR personality. I started off picking one theme, but kept searching for more ideas only to get confused and be back at square one. My suggestion is to stop searching once you pick a theme you love… TRUST ME! Baking has always been a hobby of mine (WHEN I HAVE TIME THAT IS), so I decided on a “BAKED WITH LOVE” theme and absolutely LOVED how everything turned out.
The Colors
Main: Peach Tones
Contrast Colors: Blush Tones, Light Orange, Greens, Ivory, Clear
Texture: Light Grey/Brown Wood, White Wood, Peach Toned Patterns
Don’t just pick one color and go crazy. You want to add lots of depth and contrast so all of your details ACTUALLY show. If you just stick to one shade of one color, everything tends to blend together (BIG NO NO).
The Centerpieces

It was important to me to have a main table with my closest friends and cousins (I have a HUGE family being Armenian), so I made the main table with 14 guests, including myself.
Here, I wanted the centerpieces to be long and rectangular (vs. the other round tables had smaller square centerpieces)…. I WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNED when I walked in because it turned out so beautiful!
Bridal Party Table //
2 Long Rectangle White Wooden Vases (Size: 24″) HERE filled with romantic peach toned roses mostly, some blush toned garden roses, a few peach colored textured leaves, with greenery
My florist, DOLCE FIORE, absolutely killed it!

Brides Chair HERE// Bought myself a special acrylic chair
The Ceiling

Various Peach Toned Roses // Pick them up a day before your event. I sprayed mine with hairspray to give it a vintage look.
Ivory & Soft Peach Ribbon // I knotted one rose on each end of the ribbon to make it easier to swing over the chandelier for the event the next day.
The Bubbly Bar

Ice Cube Holder Similar HERE // This area was one of my favorites. Start preparing your ice cubes 1 week in advance so they’re ready to go. Purchase small flowers similar to your theme colors.
Jars for Juice // I filled them with various juices, peach, orange, strawberry to mix in with champagne
Bubbly Bar Sign // You can download the design to this sign for your bar area. I added a photo of our proposal day to make it more personal.
